An engineered structure built to hold its shape and protect the cab and the people inside it if the vehicle rolls. Designed, tested and certified to the specific vehicle it is fitted to.

FOPS / overhead
Overhead protection where falling objects are a real risk, often combined with a ROPS. Common on underground mining vehicles, emergency vehicles and anything working beneath an overhead hazard.
