REA provides workshop and field support for vehicle-loading cranes that runs the full range, from routine scheduled servicing through to diagnostics, breakdowns, repairs and major refurbishment. Our crane technicians can investigate hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and structural issues, and get your equipment back to work.

We service and repair Palfinger cranes and, through our all-makes capability, cranes from other manufacturers too.

If your equipment is operating away from Perth, REA remains your single point of coordination, arranging the right technician, parts and technical information through our Australia-wide network.

Do you service cranes other than Palfinger?

Yes. Alongside our Palfinger experience, our all-makes service and repair capability covers vehicle-loading cranes from other manufacturers.

Can you come to us, or does the crane have to come to the REA workshop?

Both are possible. Work is carried out at our Forrestdale workshop or in the field via mobile technicians and coordinated field support, depending on your location and the nature of the repair.

My crane has thrown an error code. Can you diagnose it?

Yes. Our technicians handle diagnostics, fault-finding and control-system investigation. If you can give us the crane model, serial number and the fault or error code displayed, we can start narrowing it down before we even arrive.

Do you do major refurbishment, not just repairs or surface-level repainting?

Yes. As well as servicing and repairs, we carry out crane refurbishment, structural work, repainting and equipment transfer.

Can you help with spare parts, even if you are not doing the repair?

Yes. We provide parts identification and sourcing, drawing on REA-held stock, partner stock and manufacturer and supplier networks across Australia and internationally.
